Accessibility
Natalie Reeves was a wonderful customer of ours. She attended as many movies as possible in her wheelchair. However, since the Mountaineer was built prior to handicap access laws, we did not have proper access for customers with a wheelchair. Natalie inspired us to build a handicap ramp in the 1990s so that she and other customers with a wheelchair could more easily enter the theatre. There are two spaces for customers with wheelchairs.
In 2018, the Mountaineer added devices for the hearing impaired.
The Mountaineer Theatre staff will be happy to assist you and provide you priority access to the auditorium to select your seating area. Please feel free to contact the Mountaineer at 970-944-2298 should you need assistance or arrive early so that we can make proper arrangements for you and your party.
